Looney Hollow Homestead, 7885 Boulder Road, Versailles, MO (2026)

🐝🌸 The last little workers of the season are making the most of our wildflower bed! 💗

🌼 I planted this bed specifically for our pollinators! 🐝 I wanted to give the bees and other little helpers a place to find food, and seeing these girls buzzing from bloom to bloom makes me so happy. There’s something special about watching a little patch of flowers do exactly what you planted it for! 🌿🤎

Even as the season winds down, these flowers are still giving our pollinators a helping hand. Just one small way we can make our homestead a little friendlier to the creatures that help everything grow. 🏡🌸

🌿 We finally got some of our land cleared, and I don’t know why, but NOW it really feels like we own land! 😂🤎

We’ve been living on just a small portion of our property for the past year, so seeing more of it opened up feels like such a huge milestone! 🌳✨ It’s exciting to finally start bringing some of our ideas to life and making plans for new projects.

We have so many dreams for this little homestead, and I can’t wait to see what we create here. One project at a time! 🐓🌱🏡

Just getting started, and there’s so much more to come! ❤️🌾

There’s something bittersweet about this time of year. 🍂🌸

The flowers are still blooming, the hummingbirds are still visiting, but you can feel the season slowly beginning to turn.

I’m trying to slow down and appreciate these little pieces of summer while they’re still here—because before long, everything will look different. 🐦🌿
