Introducing your Wizard of Oz directors! Meet our Assistant Director, Afton Skeeters, who is an alumnus from Vocals and Chords Studio! Afton is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Northern Kentucky University. Her previous directing credits include The Moors (Director), 101 Dalmatians Kids (Director), A Christmas Carol (Asst. Director), Could You Hug a Cactus (Music Director), and she just completed a Directing Observership at Seattle’s Taproot Theatre for their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It has been pretty cool to see all of the fabulous things that Afton has been creating over the past 3 years since her graduation from Woodford County High School. This year she enters her senior year at NKU and has such a bright future ahead of her. We are so fortunate to have her with us for this show.
Ms. Rachele started Vocals and Chords Music and Theater Studio in 2010 in Versailles, Ky and keeps expanding offerings to students and adults of all ages. Her directing credits include The Secret Garden (Music Director), A Year with Toad and Frog (student director), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Director), A Not So Silent Night (Director), Go, Go Jonah (Director), Breakfast at Galilee (Adult and children’s Director), Away From the Manger (Director), A Star is Born (Co-Director), Sermon on the Mound (Director) and The Lion King (Co-Director).
