Verona Area International School-VASD Verona Area International School (VAIS) is the ONLY public, tuition-free Chinese language immersion

VAIS students from Verona, Fitchburg, and parts of Madison spend half of their day learning content in Mandarin Chinese and half their day in English while also engaging in music, art, and physical education with a global focus at the heart of the curriculum. VAIS graduates continue their Mandarin learning at the middle and high school levels through an Advanced Chinese program offered at Badger R

idge Middle School and Verona Area High School. The Verona Area School District (VASD) is working with all district schools to ensure that:
•Every student has a personalized learning plan that provides a path to discovery and achievement and that plan is reviewed and changed at least annually based on the student’s needs
•Every student’s parent, guardian or advocate participates directly in the design, implementation, and outcomes of that student’s personalized learning plans
•Every student meets or exceeds the goals of his or her personalized learning plan every school year
•Every Verona Area High School student graduates

i9 Sports After School offers K–5 students a fun, safe and active environment to spend the wrap around hours of the day through movement, structured play and free choice all at school. Programming will be held at Sugar Creek Elementary. We have a designated NCE/VAIS pickup spot and will walk over students.
Our program is designed for all abilities, giving children opportunities to stay active, try new things, build confidence and practice teamwork in a fun and welcoming environment.

A little about the program, we know life happens, we offer month to month programming, assuming you will be with us all year! We offer 2-5 day attendance options.
