🎓 INTRODUCING THE CLASS OF 2040! 🎓

Today, they are our little learners. Someday, they will be our graduating seniors. ❤️

Right now, the Class of 2040 is just beginning their journey. They are learning letters, tying shoes, making new friends, discovering their interests, and taking those first big steps toward becoming who they are meant to be.

But if there is one thing we know about school years, it is this: they go by FAST.

Before we know it, those little kindergarteners will be walking across the stage as seniors—taller, wiser, more confident, and ready to take on the world. Along the way, they will learn more than reading, writing, and math. They will learn how to overcome challenges, celebrate victories, make memories, build friendships, and believe in themselves.

So, Class of 2040, enjoy the little moments. Laugh often. Make memories. Be curious. Be kind. Dream BIG. 💜💛

And to the families, teachers, and everyone who will help guide them along the way—cherish these years. The days may sometimes feel long, but the years will fly by faster than you can imagine.

Class of 2040, your journey is just beginning. We can't wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish!

As we get ready to welcome our Wildcats back for another amazing school year, we want to make sure you have all the important information in one place! 💜💛

Be sure to mark your calendars for:
🐾 Fall Sports Parent Meeting – Sunday, August 9 at 6:00 PM
🏫 Open House – Thursday, August 20 from 1:00–7:00 PM
🎉 First Day of School – Monday, August 24

Change in Student Hours -
Breakfast is served from 7:24-7:45 AM
School Day is 7:45AM - 3:30 PM

If you haven't completed your student's registration or need assistance with the Lumen Touch Parent Portal, our staff is here to help! You can come to Open House, give us a call at 833-402-9580, or stop by the appropriate school office during summer office hours.

As we prepare to welcome our Wildcat families back for Open House, we want to share an important update.

There will not be a vaccination clinic available during Open House this year.

To help ensure your child is ready for the first day of school, please make plans to have any required immunizations completed before school begins by visiting:
💜 Your Primary Care Physician
💛 Your County Health Department
💜 A Walk-In Clinic

Making sure your student's vaccinations are up to date helps create a healthy learning environment for everyone.

If you have questions about your child's immunization requirements or need assistance, please contact your child's school office. We're happy to help!

🍎📚 The 2026-2027 School Year is Almost Here! 💜💛

We are excited to welcome our Wildcat families back for another amazing year at Verona R-VII School District!

📧 Online School Registration letters have been emailed to the email address we have on file for all currently enrolled students. Be sure to check your inbox (and your spam/junk folder just in case)!

If you did not receive your registration email today, please contact the school office at 833-402-9580 so we can update your email address and make sure you're ready for the new school year.

📋 Enrolling a new student? Stop by the appropriate school office to pick up a new student enrollment packet. Our staff will be happy to help you get started!

🤝 Need assistance with online registration? We've got you covered! Join us during Open House on Thursday, August 20, from 1:00-7:00 PM. Our staff will be available to answer questions, assist with registration, and help make the process as easy as possible.

We can't wait to welcome our students and families back for another fantastic year of learning, growth, and Wildcat pride. See you soon!
