🎶🩷 Get ready to ROCK around the clock! 🩵🖤

Flyers went home today so our families have plenty of time to plan while we’re out for Fall Break next week! When our Little Raiders return on Monday, October 19, we’ll jump right into celebrating our 50th Day of School with a 50’s Sock Hop! 🎶💃🕺

Break out the poodle skirts, rolled-up jeans, white tees, leather jackets, scarves, and sunglasses—and get ready for Coke floats too! 🥤🍒

Enjoy Fall Break, and we’ll see everyone back in the 50’s! 🩷🩵🖤

We may be a few days late, but we couldn’t let Custodian Appreciation Day pass without celebrating the amazing people who work hard every day to keep Verona Primary looking its best! ❤️🖤 One of our wonderful custodians was out sick today, so he’s missing from our picture—but definitely not from our appreciation! 🫶

And today, we’re celebrating Coaches Day! 🏀🏈 Our coaches encourage, motivate, build confidence, and make a BIG impact on our Little Raiders every day!

We are so thankful for these incredible members of our VPS team! ❤️🖤

Our 2nd graders took learning beyond the classroom today with a trip to Ole Miss for STEM Exploration! ❤️🖤🔬🧲

Our Little Raiders rotated through hands-on STEM experiences exploring magnetic forces, floods, levees, and erosion—and even spent time learning in the planetarium! 🌎🪐✨

What a fun way to ask questions, experiment, explore, and see science come to life! A BIG thank you to the Center for Mathematics and Science Education at Ole Miss for giving our students such an awesome learning experience!

They visited the Fire Station 🚒, stopped by the Public Library 📚, and ended their adventure with lunch at the park! 🛝🍎
