π DISMISSAL & TRAFFIC UPDATE π
Manatee Families,
We are aware of the traffic and congestion on 4th Street and 58th Avenue during dismissal and understand the frustration this can cause. We have contacted the county and are working internally to ensure our procedures are as efficient as possible. We also need your help. Small changes from all of us can make a BIG difference in keeping traffic moving safely and efficiently.
π Please do not arrive too early.
Middle school does not dismiss until 2:50 PM. We currently have cars arriving as early as 2:20β2:30, but the line cannot begin moving until approximately 2:52, once students have arrived at their dismissal loops.
Elementary dismissal is 3:05 PM. When elementary families arrive too early, they become mixed into the middle school line, creating additional congestion and preventing us from getting our middle school families through.
π‘ Coming a little later is better! Once dismissal gets moving, our line moves quickly and wait times are significantly shorter.
π·οΈ Please have your car tag displayed and ready.
We are also seeing a number of vehicles without car tags. When a car does not have a tag, we must stop the flow of traffic, ask who you are picking up, verify the student, and then call for them individually.
Car tags were provided at orientation, and we have plenty available in the front office. If you do not have one, please stop by so we can get one for you.
π¦ Please help keep the intersections clear.
Please do not block intersections or through traffic while waiting to enter the dismissal line. Allowing other traffic to continue moving is important for both safety and reducing congestion in the surrounding area.
We are hopeful that with the county's support, continued adjustments on our end, and everyone's cooperation with arrival times, car tags, and traffic flow, we will continue to see improvement.
We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and partnership as we work together to make dismissal as safe and efficient as possible for everyone. π

ππ MAKING AN IMPACT WEDNESDAY ππ
Each Wednesday, weβre shining a spotlight on the incredible people who make an impact at ISV every single day!
This week, weβre celebrating our amazing Elementary Specials Team! π¨π΅π
These incredible educators give our Manatees opportunities to create, move, explore, discover new talents, and find something they love. Their classrooms are filled with energy, encouragement, and so many moments that make the school day extra special.
A special thank you to Mrs. Haynes for stepping in and supporting our students during Mr. Manningβs absence. We appreciate your willingness to jump in, your flexibility, and the care you continue to show our Manatees! π
Thank you, Elementary Specials Team, for sharing your talents with our students and for the impact you make each and every day.

π¬π TALK ABOUT IT TUESDAY! ππ¬
Manatee Families, itβs time for a little dinner table conversation!
Ask your Manatee:
π What is something that made you SMILE at school today? π
Maybe it was something funny a friend said, a favorite class, a moment with their teacher, or something they were proud of!
π Share their answer in the comments! We love hearing about the little moments that make our Manateesβ days special. π
