Our 8th grade graduating class of 2022 has now closed the chapter of high school, and we could not be prouder of the amazing young adults they have become. Watching our students continue to grow, dream, and succeed beyond The Willow School is one of the greatest joys of our community.

The Willow School’s Curriculum Night was a wonderful evening of coming together as a school family and celebrating a year full of creativity, discovery, and hands-on learning! Our students were proud to showcase some of their favorite projects they have completed throughout the school year, and it was inspiring to see their excitement as they shared their learning experiences with family and friends.

For those who may not know, The Willow School is truly a place “where learning is experienced.” Our curriculum is deeply rooted in project-based learning, giving students opportunities to actively explore, create, collaborate, and problem-solve in meaningful ways.

Research continues to show that project-based learning supports stronger retention of knowledge, as students are more likely to remember concepts they have actively constructed through hands-on experiences rather than passively received through traditional instruction.

What a special night celebrating the joy of learning, the growth of our students, and the incredible projects that brought their learning to life! 💚

We’re feeling incredibly grateful after a full week of love shown in so many thoughtful ways. 💛

As Ms. Brooke would say, “our buckets are full.”

Mrs. Erika’s 4th & 5th grade classes made their next stop Wekiwa Springs —cooling off, making a splash, and diving into hands-on learning 💦

As they settle in at Camp Joy, students are exploring the natural habitats they’ve been studying and experiencing pure nature firsthand 🌎✨ From observing wildlife to discovering Florida’s unique ecosystems, every moment is an unforgettable learning adventure!

✈️ We’re flying fast toward the end of an amazing school year at The Willow School—where learning is experienced every day!

Mrs. Erika’s 4th & 5th grade classes kicked off their annual 3-day spring campout adventure, with their first stop at the Brevard Zoo 🐾🌿

Hands-on learning, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of excitement ahead—stay tuned for more from the journey!

Second year in a row, The Willow School is proud to partner with the Senior Resource Association Meals on Wheels program 💛

Our students are delivering more than just meals—they’re sharing kindness and compassion by collecting and donating pet supplies like bowls, kitty litter, flea prevention, and toys. Our tiny school collected over 147 lbs of dog and cat food, along with many cans and additional essentials to support our local senior residents in caring for their beloved furry companions 🐾

Because when we help care for their pets, we’re also helping preserve the comfort, companionship, and unconditional love that means so much.
