🍎 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 & 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 - The Summer Feeding Program is back! From June 3rd to July 29th, children and teens can receive free breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday at four different schools. No paperwork, no signup, just show up. Or, families can choose to do a 7 day breakfast/lunch pick-up on Wednesdays and various locations around the county.

🤩 We had an incredible 2nd Annual Talent Show last month! Our students got up there and sang, danced, played the piano, played the ukulele, told jokes, and more. We're so proud of them all and can't wait for next year!

🚓 Ride to School in a Cop Car! Last week the Marcelin family cashed in their auction win and had a great time riding to school with Officer Willis. We agree with their shirts. We love Officer Willis! ❤️

☕️ 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵: 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 - 𝟭𝟬:𝟯𝟬𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗠 - The Southern Salt and Coffee Co. Cart will be parked in the front Beachland parking lot again from 8 AM - after the SDIRC “Power of Moonshot Momentum” Celebration Caravan (10:30ish). The PTA is setting up a shade tent and bringing chairs. Come hang out before we leave for summer! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the PTA.

Important Reminder:
Normal morning drop-off procedures will still take place through the car loops. Parents who would like to visit the truck are welcome to:
* Purchase coffee before or after dropping students in the car loops, or
* Park in the front lot and walk their students to the office.
* Parents are welcome to hang out with us for a while and welcome the celebration caravan around 10:15ish.

Please note:
* Drinks are for adults only.
* Students may not walk onto campus carrying drinks, even with lids.

🥳 For a second year in a row Beachland's 3rd grade has surpassed the Moonshot Goal of 90% Literacy!! Parents are welcome to help the school cheer when the district's celebration caravan drives through Beachland around 10:15ish. Thank you to Patience's family for representing Beachland in the caravan!

💻 𝗦𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗖 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿
All current 2nd–5th grade students will keep their school-issued laptops over the summer to continue learning and accessing summer resources. Current 5th grade students will take their laptops with them to their SDIRC middle school for the 2026–2027 school year. (Kindergarten & 1st grade students do not take their laptops home over the summer.)

If your student is graduating 5th grade and will not be attending an SDIRC middle school, their district-issued laptop must be returned to Mr. Stadelman on the last day of school, Friday, May 29th.

(Note: We have not seen an opt out option at this time.)
