We have a new nursery license and the first thing we plan to do with it is have a fruit tree sale to raise funds for building a brand new Community Garden! Just in time for fall planting!
So if anyone would like to pre-order trees, I'll have an availability list next week.
And if anyone wants to help plan our new community garden, our first meeting is on Sunday 9/18 at noon, at Unity Spiritual Center on 43rd avenue, behind the building at the picnic tables.
All skill levels are welcome!

Has anyone ever thought about gardening together with friends?
How about this year!?
I'm inviting any interested gardeners, at any level of experience to join me in creating more gardens together.
Right now I'm feeling especially grateful for the times spent gardening with friends!
From early stages of just learning how to get food to grow in Florida, through all of the planning and dreaming, to the part where the work of it is fun because of the people we're gardening with!
As a group, we can easily build many gardens together for ourselves and others!
I have plenty of gardening space, seeds and plants to share!
Now is the time to start planning for our next growing season.
Let's keep growing and learning together!

It's been more than a decade since my direction began to shift.
Clearer to see now looking back.
The seemingly eternal search for a spot to love and nurture.
Anywhere and Everywhere along the way!
Gently coaxing from the Earth the nourishing abundance nature gladly offers.
How lucky I am to have found it!
Feeling guided to this place along my path.
Certain my choice is perfect!
Enchanted and Inspired, yet naive!
Learning and working here for 2 years already now!
Wading through the obstacles, at times barely moving!
I Love the Food Forest beginning to emerge!
Baby fruit trees are my favorite as I imagine the delicious harvests to come!
Celebrating each new garden bed and flower!
And now my new nursery license!

Remembering countless times I wished to learn about all the aspects of living naturally in subtropical Florida.
I'm pretty sure I wasn't asking for a cogongrass lesson!!!
Noxious w**d #7 on the list with the capacity to completely take over the whole food forest!!!
I just can't use poison on this beautiful land!
How do I fix this one? Inch by inch?
