STOP TAKE A BREAK AND LISTEN 10 seconds Fresh air naps just hit different..and on a hammock? SPOT ON!
Outdoor napping gives little brains and bodies a whole different kind of reset. The sounds of birds chirping, leaves rustling, wind blowing, rain tapping…that natural white noise helps children regulate, relax, and settle deeper into sleep. Nature literally calms the nervous systeM.

And let’s talk about those hammock naps
That gentle rocking movement? HUGE for proprioception and body awareness. It helps children feel grounded, organized, secure, and calm in their bodies. Basically giving the brain and body a giant “you’re safe” hug.
Benefits of outdoor nap (or any nap)
1.Improved mood and emotional regulation
2. Reduced stress and overstimulation
3. Deeper, more restful sleep
4 Supports brain development and sensory integration
5. Natural sounds encourage relaxation
6. Hammock movement supports vestibular + proprioceptive input
Lastly and importantly, more connection to nature and overall wellbeing.
I know licensing isn't thrilled with this idea but sometimes the best classroom ceiling…is the sky. ☁️

A cause you MUST support
A child right to play!!!

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child has been ratified by every nation on Earth — except the United States. That means American children have no formal treaty-level guarantee of their right to play, rest, and cultural participation.

IPA USA is advocating to change that. Will you join us?

I think I will..
. After I make this post

Day 4! Today's focus: the people right in front of you. 💛

Put the phone in a drawer and be fully present with your family. Eye contact. Real laughs. Real hugs. That's the good stuff.
