Oxford Academy of Vero Beach

Oxford Academy of Vero Beach Oxford Academy is a Premier Preschool. We offer education with a literacy based curriculum. We striv Oxford Academy focuses on the individual needs of each child.

To define Oxford Academy as a childcare center would be an incomplete definition. While childcare is certainly a critical part of Oxford Academy's program, it is the early childhood development and educational programs that separate Oxford Academy from the rest of the industry. We provide them with the tools to be successful in their transition from preschool to elementary school and we set a positive foundation for all future learning experiences. Oxford Academy provides an environment for learning by using age appropriate materials and setting realistic goals for each child.

This past weekend we had 2 star of the week’s Coral and Isaias. Way to go Coral and Isa!!

Coral took Lucy home to spend the weekend with her. They had dinner together on Friday and then Ice cream to follow in Ft. Pierce. They made Daddy Coffee and poured the Milk. They went on a bike ride to a friends party and played with all her other stuff animals.

Isaias spent the weekend with Lucky they went to church and took a visit to a farm. They had so much fun together.

Both Coral and Isaias have been big role models in VPK. They are participating in circle time and learning they have been a big help during center time making sure everything goes back where it belongs!

Adilyn was our VPK star of the week on Sept 25th. It was her birthday week and our star of the week. Adilyn always comes in with a smile and never gets upset. She always jumps right in to help when needed no matter if it’s helping a friend or Ms. Leslie or Ms. Joslyn.

During Lucy time with Adi they had a fun filled birthday weekend in Orlando. They started out with dinner and then a stay in a hotel that was filled with birthday decorations by her mom, step dad and siblings. On Saturday her and Lucy were surprised with a trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom where we rode the safari and watched the Lion king Show. The ended the day at Epcot where they met Elsa and Anna! On Sunday Lucy stayed back in the hotel with her new friend while Adi enjoyed her day at Seaworld! On Monday they played mini golf before heading home and got a hole in one. Needless to say Adi and Lucy had an amazing 5th birthday

Today we made pudding! Making pudding from scratch using a rotary hand-crank egg be**er is a fantastic, multi-sensory cooking project. It blends old-school culinary techniques with essential physical and cognitive development. Then the taste testing! VPK approved!!
