2026–2027 SCHOOL UNIFORM UPDATE

At Touched By Grace School, we are always looking for ways to create a more focused, structured, and supportive learning environment while helping our students RISE through our four pillars:

Academics • Character • Purpose • Impact

Beginning next school year, Touched By Grace School will implement a standardized school uniform policy.

We believe uniforms help create:
• greater consistency and fewer classroom distractions
• a more professional environment that helps prepare students for future academic and workplace expectations
• provide a clearer expectation of what the dress code is
• reduced social pressure and bullying related to clothing brands and fashion trends

Required Uniform:
• Navy polo shirt
• Khaki pants

Shoes:
• Standard tennis shoes/sneakers are acceptable
• Recommended colors: black, white, or gray

Cold Weather:
If your child becomes cold easily, please purchase a solid navy sweater.

No:
• hoodies
• logos
• writing
• characters
• band apparel
• graphic designs

Affordable uniform options can typically be found at stores such as Walmart (Wonder Nation brand) and Target, both of which carry economical school uniform sections.

While we understand uniforms may initially feel like an added expense, many families find they actually help reduce overall clothing costs by eliminating pressure surrounding expensive school clothes and name-brand fashion trends.

This is not a cost families need to come up with immediately. Families have over three months before the first day of school, Orientation Day, on Friday, September 4th, to prepare uniforms for students.

Our goal is to continue building a school culture centered around structure, encouragement, accountability, and opportunity while helping every student rise academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

2026–2027 SCHOOL SUPPLY UPDATE

At Touched By Grace School, we are always looking for ways to better support our students and families while helping our students RISE through our four pillars:

Academics • Character • Purpose • Impact

Beginning this school year, families will no longer be required to individually purchase and send classroom supplies for students.

Instead, there will be a $50 School Supply Fee per student due by June 15th, and the school will purchase and organize all classroom supplies for the entire academic year. This can be made via Cash App, Zelle, cash, or check.

This change was made to create a more organized and consistent classroom environment while also helping reduce stress on families already balancing work, parenting, schedules, and daily responsibilities.

In previous years, many students arrived without complete supplies, creating classroom interruptions and repeated follow-up throughout the school year. Our goal is to simplify the process while ensuring every student is fully prepared from day one.

School-provided supplies will include:
• notebooks
• pencils
• lead
• pens
• highlighters
• colored pencils
• scissors
• rulers
• calculators
• hand sanitizer
• wipes
• tissues
• Bibles
• and additional classroom materials

Students will no longer need to transport classroom materials between home and school.

For this reason:
• backpacks are not necessary (more savings for parents)
• curriculum will remain at school and be accessible online
• classroom supplies will remain at school

In most cases, the total cost of these supplies would exceed the $50 fee if purchased individually throughout the year.

Touched By Grace School proudly serves Step Up Scholarship families. Many private schools charge additional tuition costs beyond scholarship funding.

We do not — and we will not.

Our goal is to keep private education free and accessible for families while creating a cleaner, calmer, and more focused learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
