If you've done the Discovery, the Basic, Part 1, or Level 1 with any company, you already know this: transformation isn't something you did once. It's something you keep choosing.

Maybe life's gotten loud. Maybe comfort crept back in. That doesn't mean you lost your power. It just means you stopped choosing it every day, and choosing it again can happen in a moment. This one, if you let it.

This is for you if:

You've done a Lifespring-style Level 1 training
You know there's more waiting for you
You've been coasting and want to reignite
You miss feeling fully alive in your own life

The Graduate Refresher is a full return to the work. Not theory, not a pep talk. Real, experiential, and this time, deeper.

October 14-18, marking 25 years since where this all started. The first 25 spots are $97.

You don't need a crisis to come back to this work.

Maybe you're not in a bad place. Maybe things are actually fine — work is fine, home is fine, life is fine. And somewhere underneath "fine," there's a version of you that's just going through the motions. Showing up, checking boxes, waiting for something to shift without doing anything to shift it.

That's not a red flag. That's not a sign something's wrong. It's just what happens when we lose connection to why we're doing any of it in the first place.

You don't need permission to want more than fine. But if you've been waiting for one, this is it.

October 14-18. The last Graduate Refresher of 2026, and the 25th anniversary of where this all started.

What would it mean to walk back into that room?

If something in you just said yes — message me, call me, or register, link's in the comments or bio.

Before 2020, if you'd asked me whether this work could happen online, I would have told you it was impossible. Some things, I believed, could only happen in a room, in person, face to face.

Then the pandemic hit, and we didn't have a choice but to look outside the box we'd built.

I spent six months developing an online model for our Level 1 training. I didn't need to go fast. I needed it to be experiential and powerful — not some didactic, conceptual activity where people just sit and absorb information.

I believed in what we'd built. Kathy wasn't so sure — though she never said so out loud. She just supported me, quietly skeptical, waiting to see.

To put it to the real test, I created the Graduate Refresher — using people who already knew the in-person work. If something was missing, they'd feel it immediately.

By the end of that first Refresher, Kathy was blown away. So was I. The value people created was real. Undeniable.

We asked for feedback, kept refining, and made a decision together: we wouldn't just keep offering this to develop the model further. We'd keep offering it because it was making a real difference in people's lives.

Six years later, that's still true. And this October, the Graduate Refresher — now proven, now trusted — also marks 25 years since where this all began, in 2001.

Some of you already know this story — you were there, you lived it. For those who weren't, now you know where it came from.

I'll be honest with you — I'm genuinely excited about this one.

October 14-18 marks 25 years since Summit Education's very first training. And it's also the last Graduate Refresher of 2026.

If you've been thinking about coming back — even just a little, even just a "maybe someday" — this is the one. Not because there's anything magic about the date, but because this is where I'll be pouring everything I've got, honoring 25 years of this work, closing out the year with the people who show up for it.

The first 25 spots are $97. After that, it's $197.

Questions? Ready to talk it through? Message me, call me — I'd love to hear from you. Or grab your spot directly, the link is in the comments.

Let's make this one count.

Something I hear constantly — in trainings, in coaching programs, in individual sessions: "I think I'm just done. I'm not as committed to my goal, to this thing, as I thought I was."

And it's something that I've actually lived myself.

At the end of 2020, we launched our first online training. For a year, year and a half, it wasn't hard. It was actually kind of exciting. But then it got harder — and I started questioning everything. My vision. My commitment. Whether this was even the right path anymore. I was ready to stop.

Some days it feels like Sisyphus — pushing the boulder up, over and over, wondering if it'll ever stay at the top.

But the boulder doesn't always roll back down.

From almost quitting... to still at it, five years later.

Here's what I've noticed — in my own life, and in so many others: there's a gap between actually being done with something, and just being frustrated by it.

I've watched this happen with so many people, in so many areas — a relationship, a healing, a goal that matters, or something smaller. You keep falling short. Try again. Fall short again. At some point you hit a wall and think: maybe I should just let this one go.

And sometimes that's true — some things really do need to be released.

But a lot of the time, what's actually happening is something else. You're not done wanting it. You're just worn down by failing at it. And somewhere along the way, "I'm frustrated" quietly turns into "I guess I'm just not that committed anymore" — because that story hurts less than staying in the disappointment.

I'm curious: has this happened to you? Something — big or small — that you told yourself you'd let go of, but if you're honest, it wasn't really about not wanting it anymore?

What did you do? Did you ever go back to it? What did you learn?

🎉 25 YEARS AGO THIS OCTOBER 🎉

On Sunday, October 14, 2001, at 7:30 PM, 53 people completed Summit Education's first Basic Workshop.

That summer, Ralph Campbell and I started reaching out to other graduates like you — no big plan, no business strategy, just a group of us who weren't ready to let the work disappear. We said: if you're in, we're doing this in October.

That room of 53 became 6,000+ graduates in Florida alone. Then leading trainings across the world. Thousands and thousands more, over 25 years — all over the world.

This October, we're celebrating that exact anniversary with a Graduate Refresher — five days, fully online, designed to help you reconnect with the fire that got you here and step powerfully into what's next. Whether it's been 1 year or 40 or more years since you did the work, this was created specifically for you.

The dates are October 14-18, and the first 25 spots are $97 — one spot for every year of this journey. After that, it's $197.

If you've ever done this work, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't miss this one. 🔥

We're launching something new — a newsletter called Beyond the Room.

Twenty-five years ago, my friend Ralph Campbell (FL54) and I (FL40, ATL3) couldn't let this work disappear after Lifespring closed its doors. What started as one Basic in October 2001 became Summit Education, and now Cushman Coaching and Consulting — thousands of graduates later, across the globe.

If you want the stories, the lessons, and what's happening these days — straight from Kathy and I, and other contributors — issue one goes out August 1st.

I've been thinking about something lately.

There are a limited number of next times.

I knew this intellectually. Most of us do. But lately I've been feeling it differently — in my whole body, my whole consciousness. Not with fear. With clarity.

My purpose is to be a catalyst for positive change in people's lives. That's not something I chose lightly. It's what I'm here for. And I intend to live out the rest of my life in full service to that.

But time is not unlimited. For me or for you.

The things you've been putting off — the freedom you want to feel, the relationships you want to heal, the vision you want to reconnect with, the version of yourself you know is possible — those don't happen on their own while you're waiting for the right moment.

The August Graduate Refresher begins August 5. Early bird is $97 through July 20.

How many next times do you have left?

Nara did her original trainings in 2016. She came back for her first Refresher in 2021 and then again in April 2026.

She came back because she knew she was stuck and playing a much smaller game than what she was truly capable of.

Here's what surprised her most.

"What surprised me the most was how much could be felt virtually. Even through Zoom — the connection, the energy, the breakthroughs — everything was very real."

And her biggest realization?

"Many of the things I say that I want were the complete opposite of how I was actually living."

That awareness alone changed everything.

Her message to anyone who has been procrastinating:

"If you're seeing this now, take it as a sign and just do it. I honestly ended up exactly where I needed to be with the exact people who were in the training with me."

The August Graduate Refresher begins August 5.
Early bird is $97 through July 20.

Debbie Gibbs did her original trainings in 2009. She came back for the Refresher in 2021 and loved it so much she came back again in April 2026.

Here's what brought her back the second time.

"Everything just was feeling so heavy. I wasn't looking forward to any part of my life."

Then on the first day Ken asked the room — what are your payoffs for being stuck?

"It hit me like a brick in the face."

By the end of the week everything shifted. Her goals. Her vision. Her relationships. Not because her circumstances changed — because she did.

Her message to anyone considering the August Refresher:

"Don't think twice. Just enroll. You're going to thank yourself."

The August Graduate Refresher begins August 5.
Early bird is $97 through July 20.
