You are not your number.
As much as I love the Enneagram and have learned so much from it, I also want you to know from the start that you are MORE than your personality. Your Type does not define you.
It can, however, be powerful to name traits, points of views, and instincts unique to our personality so we can grow in emotional and spiritual health. We can't change what we can't name, and when we get stuck in unhealthy patterns it can be very discouraging. It also affects our relationships, work, and sense of self.
There's a lot in our lives that makes us "us", but if you're ready to do a deep dive into self-awareness and personal growth, then using the Enneagram, and a Coach, could be for you.

What exactly is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a tool to help us understand our core motivations; the reasons WHY we do what we do. It names key traits of our personalities and helps make sense of repeated patterns. But it is just a tool. Knowing your number can't help you change. In fact, just learning your number and then leaving it there can actually be harmful!
The Enneagram helps us see our patterns- both for stress and harm, and for growth and transformation.
It can be used alone, but I prefer to use it with a lens toward Christian spiritual formation. God created each of us unique, and the Holy Spirit is who can bring transformation to our inner world.
The Enneagram is a powerful lens to help us see ourselves more rightly, and invite the Holy Spirit into our daily habits to bring wholeness.

I'm so glad you're here.
I believe that Knowing God and Knowing Yourself brings freedom and confidence to live out our callings and bring God's goodness into the world.
How do you know yourself?
The Enneagram has been an incredible tool in helping me understand my core motivations, my patterns and habits, and showing me how I can grow. While there are many factors that make us "who we are," I believe the Enneagram is a foundational tool for self-awareness and becoming more balanced in our human experience.
How do we know God?
As a pastor I know says a lot, "We don't roll out of bed thinking about God. We roll out of bed thinking about ourselves." We have to intentionally create space in our minds and calendars to give God's spirit the opportunity to move in our hearts.
I also believe we are all being formed, by the culture we live in and the communities where we engage. The question is HOW are we being formed? Are we being formed more into the character of Jesus, or more into the culture around me? Spiritual formation is our rich, Christian tradition of practices, teachings, and habits that will give space to the Holy Spirit to form us.
I am available for teaching and retreats as a guide for sipirtual practices to help us reconnect with the presence of God.
For the Enneagram, I can add an understanding of Christian traditional practices that have helped shape the people of God for many generations. I also integrate those practices with personality type to help individuals and teams identify meaningful practices that will facilitate growth into Christlikeness.
I can also use the Enneagram from a secular perspective.
I created this page as a landing point for my business, and will use it for occasional posts and live teachings. There are dozens of wonderful Enneagram accounts that you can follow for insight and personal learning. I'm happy to recommend a few!
