Every child learns differently—and sometimes, the traditional classroom just isn’t the right fit. 💡

Here are 5 signs a child might need a different kind of school:
• They feel lost in large class sizes
• Their curiosity isn’t being nurtured
• They need more flexibility or movement in their day
• They thrive with individualized attention
• Their confidence or love of learning is fading

At our microschool, we believe education should meet the child where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally. Smaller groups, personalized learning, and meaningful connections can make all the difference. ❤️

If your child isn’t thriving, it may not be them—it may be the environment.

✨ A different approach can change everything.

🎮✨ Learning happens everywhere—even at Pokémon Club!

This week, we’re highlighting a fun local opportunity for our students and families: the Pokémon Club at the Indian River County Library! 🐾📚

Clubs like this are more than just play—they’re powerful learning spaces where kids build:
🧠 Strategic thinking
🤝 Social skills & teamwork
💬 Communication & confidence
🎯 Focus and problem-solving

Whether your child is trading cards, battling, or just connecting with other Pokémon fans, they’re growing in ways that matter.

At our microschool, we believe education doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Real-world experiences, community connections, and student passions are all part of the journey.

💛 If your child loves Pokémon, this is a great way to plug into the local community and have some fun while learning!

📍 Check out the Indian River County Library’s events calendar for upcoming Pokémon Club dates.

Ages 6 to 12 are invited to the Mary D. Snyder Multimedia Room at the Main Library to trade cards, game and more in our Pokemon Club. For more information contact Ms. Heather at 772-400-6344 or [email protected]. See you Sunday, April 12 at 1pm.

Today, we proudly recognize World Autism Awareness Day 💙

At our microschool, we celebrate the unique strengths, perspectives, and talents of every learner. Autism is not a limitation—it’s a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world, and that diversity makes our community stronger.

We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Through personalized learning, sensory-friendly spaces, and a culture of empathy, we empower all students to thrive in their own way.

Let’s continue to build understanding, foster acceptance, and celebrate neurodiversity—not just today, but every day.
