An Opportunity for students to pursue their Agricultural interest as part of a comprehensive, four year high school education. Upon successful completion of the program and graduation from high school, students may pursue college, start their own business or enter the workforce. Agricultural Education offers a hands-on approach to learning, development of employability skills and leadership training.

We hope you have an amazing summer filled with new experiences, hard work, and lots of memories! Whether you’re caring for animals, working on the farm, landscaping, volunteering, or gaining experience at your summer job, don’t forget—it all counts toward your SAE!

📱 Stay on top of your records by logging your SAE hours in AET throughout the summer. Recording your time, adding descriptions, and uploading photos as you go makes it much easier than trying to remember everything later!

Every hour you log helps tell the story of your growth, and prepares you for future FFA degrees, awards, and proficiency applications.

March and April were packed with opportunities, achievements, and memories for our Rockville FFA members! 🌟From degree ceremonies and chapter events to competitions, leadership opportunities, advocacy experiences, and community involvement, our members have continued to represent our chapter with pride both in and out of the classroom. 💙💛

Thank you to everyone who helped make these past two months successful — students, families, alumni, and supporters. We are excited to finish out the school year strong and continue growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture! 🌱

Join us for a special evening celebrating our FFA members and all they’ve accomplished this year 💙💛

Our Annual Awards Banquet is a time-honored tradition where we recognize student achievements, honor our graduating seniors, highlight CDE participation, present underclassman and senior awards, and install our new officer team. The night will also include a recap of the year and a fun raffle to support our chapter.

All are welcome—we hope you’ll join us to celebrate the hard work, growth, and success of our students!

Students are encouraged to wear Official Dress or professional attire.

Our students had an incredible opportunity to attend Connecticut Agriculture Day at the Capitol on March 18! 🌱

Ten of our FFA members spent the day exploring the impact of agriculture across our state while connecting with lawmakers to advocate for the future of agriculture in Connecticut. From learning about local initiatives to sharing their own experiences in agricultural education, our students represented our program with professionalism and passion.

🌸🌿 Our chapter had an amazing time at the Connecticut Flower & Garden Show!

5 of our FFA members rolled up their sleeves and put their creativity to work helping design and build a beautiful display booth on February 20th. From planning to planting, it was incredible to see their teamwork and skills in action! 🌱💐

Opportunities like this allow our students to connect with industry professionals, showcase their talents, and represent agricultural education in a meaningful way. So proud of the hard work and dedication they brought to this experience! 👏💛💙
