THIS IS ADULT EDUCATION.

It’s earning a high school diploma.
It’s learning English and finding your voice.
It’s strengthening literacy and math skills.
It’s parents learning alongside their children.
It’s gaining digital and career-ready skills.
It’s opening doors to college, careers, and new opportunities.
It’s having the courage to return to the classroom and work toward a goal.

At Vernon Regional Adult Based Education, adult education is about more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about empowering individuals, strengthening families, building confidence, and creating opportunities for brighter futures.

As we conclude Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, we celebrate our incredible students who continue to show us what determination and perseverance look like. We also thank our dedicated teachers, staff, families, community partners, and supporters who make this work possible every day.

To everyone who is working toward a goal, supporting a learner, or helping create opportunities for others:

This is Adult Education.
This is Family Literacy.
This is VRABE!! 💙💛

Today, Vernon Regional Adult Based Education celebrates the determination, perseverance, and accomplishments of GED students and graduates everywhere!

Earning a GED is more than receiving a credential; it represents hard work, new opportunities, and the courage to keep moving toward your goals. We are incredibly proud of our VRABE students who continue to show that it is never too late to invest in your education and your future.

Whether you're working toward your GED, preparing to take the next step, or celebrating your achievement today, VRABE is proud to be part of your journey.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep moving forward!!

Adult Education Changes Lives. 🎓
Across Connecticut, adult learners are earning high school credentials, learning English, preparing for college and careers, becoming U.S. citizens, strengthening their families and opening doors to new opportunities.
This Adult Education & Family Literacy Week, CAACE celebrates the learners, educators and programs making those opportunities possible every day.
All week long, we'll be sharing the people and stories of Connecticut Adult Education.
