The Vernon Preschool program is committed to providing a quality diversified program to meet the needs of children between the ages 3 and 5. Through play and interaction there will be a balance of activities to provide growth in the four areas of development: emotionally, physically, mentally and socially. The daily schedule includes a group sharing time, crafts, music, exercises, reading, book re

ports (done by the children) and outside play. There Is a large block of time each day during which children take turn working on special projects with the teachers or choosing their own activities. There are many enriching projects that follow the seasonal calendar. Our program is designed to prepare children to enter kindergarten and the elementary grades that follow
