Wow! We are really growing this year! Another staff member to introduce! If you are in the Sea Turtles class on Tuesday and Thursday, you will have Ms. Kelsey as your aide! See her bio below!

Hi! My name is Ms. Kelsey and I'm excited to join the 3s room as a Sea Turtles Aide! I love helping kids explore their inquisitive natures and have experience working with 2s and 3s in the classroom setting. I love storytime, getting creative with crafts, and going on nature walks! I have a two year old of my own who will be joining Christ Lutheran Preschool in the Giraffe room, as well as an eight and ten year old.

In my free time, I enjoy time with family and friends, especially out at a forest preserve, on a bike ride, or a trip to the beach! I also love to read a good book, cook a good meal, and watch wheel of fortune. :) I'm looking forward to getting to know your little ones at school this year and helping them to feel loved and safe!

Ready for another intro of a new staff member?

Meet Ms. Elise! Ms. Elise is our building aide this year and will be here Mon-Thursday!

Hi! I am Ms. Elise. I am thrilled to join the Christ Lutheran Preschool team as the Building Aide and return to one of my passions: working with young children. Before spending a number of years in the corporate world, I built a strong foundation in early childhood through many years of experience as a nanny, babysitter, and volunteer. I recently left my corporate career to pursue a Master in Social Work at the Erikson Institute in Chicago, aligning my professional goals with my love for supporting children and families.

At Christ Lutheran, I have a special connection to the school community: I am a proud mom to two boys, Kai and Brady, the latter of whom is a student in the Pre-K class at Christ Lutheran. When I'm not studying or helping out around the school, I stay active and love spending time outdoors. You will likely spot me out for a run on the local trails and neighborhood paths or exploring the community with my boys—whether visiting local parks, playgrounds, libraries, pools, splash pads, or forest preserves.

Meet Stephanie, our Sea Turtles Aide! Can't get away from the name doubles in our school :)

Hi! My name is Ms. Stephanie and I am very excited to be joining Christ Lutheran Preschool this fall as the aide in the 3 yr old Sea Turtles class. I have many years of experience working with kids of all ages and abilities, having worked in a preschool setting and as a substitute teacher. More recently I have been volunteering at GeneroCITY Toy Store in Arlington Heights helping run some of their amazing free programs and providing respite care to families.

My husband John and I have been blessed with three girls ( all teenagers now) that keep me very busy. I am a lifelong White Sox fan and love going to games with my family. In my free time I really enjoy reading and have started playing the game Mah Jong with friends this summer.

I look forward to getting to know you and your child as I work alongside Ms. Christine to help create a fun and successful school year.

It is time to start introducing our new staff this year: ❤️❤️❤️

We are very excited to welcome Ms. Julie to the team! Ms. Julie is our new Tot teacher and is going to have so much fun with our 2 year olds! 🦒🦒🦒. See below for her bio:

Hello! My name is Julie and I am thrilled to join the wonderful community at Christ Lutheran Preschool. I can't wait to serve our amazing students and families. With a unique professional background as a nurse, postpartum doula, nanny, and artist, I bring a deeply nurturing touch and a whole lot of fun to the classroom. I am passionate about creating a caring, community-oriented environment where our youngest learners can explore and grow. My goal is to spark joy and inspire every child to shine through play, creative expression, and art!

When I am not busy playing and learning with our two and three-year-olds, you can find me enjoying life outside the classroom. In my personal time, I love spending quality time with my family, especially my delightful 4.5-year-old grandson! Whether I am diving into a good book, tending to my garden, or working on my own art projects, I am always finding new ways to keep my hands busy and my heart full. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and a wonderful school year ahead!
