Vernon Hills Montessori Academy (formerly Montessori & Music Academy) was founded in 2000 and opened its doors as a first Montessori School in America with a music curriculum. We are a private, nonsectarian school, with no religious af

filiation and we are a diverse community, full member of the American Montessori Society (AMS), licensed by DCFS and registered with the Illinois State Board of Education, affiliated with Illinois State Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, and American College of Musicians. At Vernon Hills Montessori Academy, we are committed to creating a supportive and stimulating environment where each child learns at his own pace and we allow time for that growth to take place. Our focused educational effort is based on the belief that children have an innate desire to learn, manifest their potential, and discover ways to contribute meaningfully to the world community. He composed and recorded what you hear right here at Rhythm of Learning, playing all the instruments--especially his favorite one: the human voice.
