Verndale Area Christian Academy Child Care Center is a nonprofit 501©3 organization. At VACA, we believe that the heart, mind, and soul of a young person is a precious thing to be cared for and molded in a healthy balanced way to include a strong faith-based Christian worldview. Research indicates that during the first three years of life, 85% of the brain's physiological development takes place.

Approximately 60% of a child's cognitive skills, the ability to learn, is developed by age four. We recognize the importance of early brain development and learning and strive to help children develop to the best of their ability. VACA is committed to individualizing learning for each child at age-appropriate levels so that each child can learn and grow at their own pace. Our education method will provide children with a learning environment and experiences that will help children develop socially, cognitively, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. VACA will also teach children life skills in a manner appropriated to their age and stage of development. We will be using a variety of supplies and equipment to help us with these experiences. Our teachers will provide a daily schedule with both indoor and outdoor activities, weather permitting.

Verndale Area Christian Academy has been selected to participate in the 2026 Live First Community Giving Campaign through First International Bank & Trust!

Now we need YOUR HELP!

🚧✨ BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT VERNDALE AREA CHRISTIAN ACADEMY! ✨🚧

We are thrilled to share that progress is officially beginning on our school expansion project! 🙌

✔️ Initial soil testing for the new septic system came back GREAT and the ground is perfect for the new system!

✔️ Demo of the back of the gym and storage room will begin June 1st

✔️ Dirt moving and site preparation will begin June 15th

What an exciting season as we prepare to expand and continue offering quality Christian education to more students and families! ❤️📚✝️

God has been so faithful, and we are prayerfully believing for even more!

💥 We currently have a DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR MATCH up to $100,000! 💥

Every gift goes twice as far and every bit truly helps.

🏗️ We need: • $200,000 to complete the shell
• $600,000 to fully complete the building

Our prayer is to fully open the new school wing by July 2027! 🙏
