⛳🏴‍☠️ PIRATE ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: HOLE IN ONE FOR CARTER! 🎉

Once a Pirate, always a Pirate! 💚🖤 We’re excited to celebrate Verndale Pirate alumnus Carter and his incredible accomplishments on the golf course with the NDSU Golf Team! 🦬⛳

The NDSU Golf Team competed on October 12th and 13th at Metropolis Country Club, just north of New York City! 🗽

🏌️‍♂️ During the second round on the first day, Carter recorded his FIRST collegiate hole-in-one! 🎉👏 This marks his 4th career hole-in-one! 🤯⛳

📍 Hole 15
📏 151 yards
🏆 HOLE IN ONE!

Here’s the crazy part… Carter didn’t even get to see it go in! 👀 It was a blind shot, but he knew he had hit the ball exactly where he wanted it. Watching it fly through the air, he knew it had a chance. Then came the cheering and yelling, and he knew he had done it! 🙌🎉

📊 After Day One:
🏌️ Carter was sitting in 18th place.
🦬 The team was in 7th place.

🔥 Day Two: Carter came back playing steady golf and climbed the leaderboard to finish 5th overall! 🏆 The NDSU team made an impressive climb as well, finishing in 4th place! 👏

🗓️ What’s Next for Carter?

⛳ October 19–20: West Des Moines, Iowa

🇲🇽 Final Fall Tournament: Club Campestre de Monterrey in Mexico!

☀️ Spring Season: Carter and the team will kick off their spring season on February 28th in Goodyear, Arizona, with a three-day tournament! 🌵

💚🖤 From a Verndale Pirate to an NDSU Bison, Carter continues to make us proud! We love seeing our Pirate alumni chasing their dreams and accomplishing incredible things beyond our halls!

Congratulations, Carter! Your Pirate family is cheering you on every step of the way! 🏴‍☠️⛳🦬

🌲🍂 A Day of Adventure at Itasca State Park! 🍂🌲

Last week, our Verndale 8th graders headed to Itasca State Park for a day of adventure, exploration, and making memories! 🚌🌳

From enjoying the beautiful fall scenery to spending time together outside the classroom, it was a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience the great outdoors and enjoy everything Minnesota has to offer! 🍁💚

What a great day to be a Pirate! 🏴‍☠️💚🖤

🏴‍☠️💚 Introducing the Class of 2027 and the Class of 2039! 💚🏴‍☠️

A tradition we love here at Verndale! 📸✨

Our soon-to-be graduates and our littlest Pirates came together for our traditional playground picture! From the Class of 2027 preparing for graduation to the Class of 2039 just beginning their journey, this photo is a special reminder of how quickly the years fly by! 🥹💚

🛝 This year is extra special! For the first time, our traditional photo was taken on our BRAND NEW playground! While the entire playground isn't quite finished yet, the section dedicated to our Preschool and Kindergarten students is complete! What a special way to celebrate a new chapter for our littlest Pirates while honoring a tradition with our oldest!

Two classes, 12 years apart, and one very special tradition! 💚

🎓 And of course, we couldn't forget our official Class of 2027 senior photo, taken at none other than Riewer's Ranch! 📸

So many memories, so many milestones, and so much to look forward to for both of these classes!

🏴‍☠️🎉 AND THE WINNER IS… THE FRESHMEN! 🎉🏴‍☠️

A HUGE congratulations to our Verndale Freshmen for taking home first place in our Homecoming Parade Float Decorating Contest! 🏆💚

Their creative theme, “Shipping Out the Mercury!” was a hit with our judges! 📦🚚 What really set their float apart was how they brought their theme to life, transforming their float into a working shipping facility, complete with students playing the part!

All that creativity, teamwork, and hard work deserved a sweet celebration! And what better way to celebrate winning a float contest than with… ROOT B**R FLOATS! 🍺🍦🎉

Way to go, Freshmen! We love seeing your school spirit, creativity, and Pirate Pride shine! 💚🖤🏴‍☠️
