🏴‍☠️☠️ WALK THE PLANK FUNDRAISER! ☠️🏴‍☠️

Our students had a BLAST at this year’s Walk the Plank fundraiser! 🏴‍☠️💰 They worked hard to raise money, and we’ll find out SOON who the winning class is! 🏆👀 The anticipation is REAL!

After all that fundraising, it was time for some fun! Students got to try their skills at soccer ⚽, football throw 🏈, long jump, and running the track 🏃‍♀️. They also got to bounce away in the bouncy house before wrapping up the day with the ULTIMATE grand finale… the DUNK TANK! 💦😂

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event such a fun and memorable day for our students! ❤️ We’re so grateful for a school community that supports our kids and makes these experiences possible!

Now… who’s going to claim the WIN?! 🏆 Stay tuned!

👑💚 Homecoming Coronation Fun! 💚👑

Our Wise Owls had some extra special reasons to be excited for Homecoming Coronation! 🦉✨ Two of our Wise Owls got to be crown bearers during the ceremony! 👑

The excitement didn’t stop there! Our kiddos were SO proud that our special classroom helper, Brooke, was a Queen candidate! 🥰 And one of our students was especially excited to attend Coronation just to “cheer Brooke on!!” 💚👑

We love seeing our Wise Owls support the people who mean so much to them! What a special memory for our little crew! 💚🦉

✋✌️✊ Rock, Paper, Scissors + Tally Marks! ✊✌️✋

Our 1st graders had some fun practicing tally marks today! Students worked with partners to play Rock, Paper, Scissors and then came to the board to record whether Rock, Paper, or Scissors won—or if it was a tie!

We practiced an important tally mark rule: after 4 tallies, the 5th tally gets a slash to make a group of 5! Then it was time to start a new group. 👏

Math + teamwork + a little friendly competition = a pretty fun way to learn! 💚🦉

🦉✂️ Our Wise Owls are getting CREATIVE! 🦉

We created our very own ripped paper owls! We practiced tearing, gluing, making choices, and putting all those little pieces together to create some pretty adorable owls. 💚

I love seeing how different each owl turned out—just like each of our Wise Owls is wonderfully unique! 🥰🦉

We may have had paper EVERYWHERE… but look at these little masterpieces! 🎨✨

💜📚 Our FIRST Mystery Reader of the Year! 📚💜

We had the BEST surprise today when one of our Wise Owl moms popped in as our mystery reader! She read us The World Needs More Purple Schools and reminded us that our school community is pretty special. 💜🦉

And the best part?! She brought a very special little reader with her! 👶💕

This mama is also one of our amazing school counselors, who is currently enjoying some well-deserved maternity leave. We were SO excited to see her (and meet her sweet baby)!

What a perfect way to kick off our Mystery Reader tradition! 📖✨💜
