This is so true! Too many times reading is focused on chapter books, but children that are struggling readers can benefit from all types of reading material.

Vernal Tutoring will be giving away free kids books and stickers instead of Halloween candy this Saturday. We are located across the street from the Library at 145 N. 200 E. one block away from the Main Steet trick or treat walk, please stop by anytime between 3-5pm. Happy Halloween!

As many students get ready to go back to in-person schools and other students are schooling from home, we at Vernal Tutoring are supportive of parents’ and families’ choices and we are here to help. We have highly experienced classroom and home school teachers available to help with tutoring in most subjects areas grades K-9. I am also available for daytime tutoring for any students that are schooling from home and need help with online classes/assignments. Please contact us if you would like more information.

During these uncertain economic times, we at Vernal Tutoring understand that many families are struggling and we are doing our best to support students and their families. We are happy to be able to offer a discounted rate for the month of August, and we can arrange even lower rates for students whose families qualify for free/reduced lunch because we believe that every student should be able to get help if they need it, no matter their economic status. Please feel free to message us with tutoring questions or requests. We are here to help.

In accordance with the public health order from Tri-County Health Department, Vernal Tutoring will no longer be offering in-person tutoring services, but we are still available for online help sessions. In addition, we are still offering free books in our Little Book Library located in front of the tutoring office at 145 N. 200 E. behind Vernal Floral. We miss our students but we want everyone to stay safe. Vernal Strong!

In this time of students schooling at home, Vernal Tutoring is here to help and support parents/families as much as possible. If you have any questions about the online or packet lessons, your best option would be to ask your child's teacher or school, but if you are not able to get help, then please feel free to call us at 435-219-1888 or email [email protected] and we will try to help as much as we can at no charge. Our community has great teachers, schools, students, and families and we are here to help during this difficult time.
