This year as part of the Davis Title 1 Parent Engagement Plan our 1st and 2nd grade students will be doing reading practice with their parents at home, 10 minutes a day, 4 days a week. Parents are being trained to review the reading skills their student learned in school that day, to increase student reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension. This plan was put in place last year with our 1st grade students, with great success. We are excited to see how far our students will grow this year!
