We are saddened to learn that Tim Johnson, a former three-term senator from South Dakota (University of South Dakota, 1969), has entered Chapter Eternal.

Former Senate Banking Chair Johnson died at 77 on Tuesday following complications from a stroke. Johnson retired in 2015 after serving three terms in the Senate and five terms in the House, totaling 36 years of service. He replaced former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) at the helm of Senate Banking in 2011 following Dodd’s retirement.

The USD Delts are excited to host our spring rush event this Wednesday. Stop by the Delt house on January 31st to meet our brothers.

Members of our current and former executive teams attened the Emerge Drive conference in Columbia, Missouri to connect and grow with other Delt chapters across the nation. We are very excited to announce that the USD Delts were honored with a Hugh Shields award at the conference! This prestigious award honors us as a top 10 chapter in the nation. We are very proud of our brothers and our commitment to excellence.

Our next senior spotlight is Peyton Johnston. Congratulations, PJ! We know you will do well in your next chapter of life.

The men of Delta Tau Delta had another great semester full of community and campus involvement, embraced brotherhood, and good times. We are excited to get back to Vermillion with our brothers soon!

Our first senior spotlight is Joey Ostermyer! We wish Joey the best in his future and know he will do well in whatever he chooses to do. Congratulations, Joey!
