Today we are celebrating our April PBIS Students of the Month who show their friends and teachers how to be kind, safe, and helpful at Austin School!!! Congratulations to our awesome kiddos!!

Mrs. Hage’s class completed their annual Earth Day art project on Friday! Recycled and Earth Day art will be on display in the Edith Siegrist Public Library during the week of April 22-26. Take a visit to see all of the fantastic artwork from Vermillion’s elementary students! Here’s a little preview!

Kindergarten Round-Up is just around the corner! This opportunity is available for children that will be 5 years old ON or BEFORE September 1, 2024. If you have a child or know a family that's interested in Kindergarten, please call the school to sign up -OR use the QR code on the flyer.

Austin School needs YOUR help!! We are having a door decorating contest and need help picking the winners. Please vote by “liking” your favorite doors! Voting will be open until Monday. The 3 doors that receive the most votes will win a prize! 😊

We opened the Austin Shirt order up for just a couple days and added a couple of new items. Tell family and friends! Could make fantastic gifts! Check it out and order asap!

Austin Elementary

On Tuesday afternoon kindergartners were able to take a field trip to Mazing Acres in Yankton. They learned about how pumpkins grow and were able to explore using their five senses. They even got to pick their own pumpkin to take home. We are so grateful to our amazing Vermillion Public School Foundation who funded this entire trip for us!
