Graphic Design in the University of South Dakota

Today was day 2 of the project and Team Expresso was finally able to get some actual progress made!! We checked out Off Coffee today where I found out I hate red bean but only of the exception of cream cheese. We then learned about thw owner and the shops history and future plans.

I learned how much someone can truly love what they do today and I am more excited for this project now.

✨ChibaxUSD Workshop Day 2✨

Visited KITTE Marunouchi last night. Had delicious food. Did more research today. Had more delicious food.

Today we met our Chiba partners and visited the coffee shop that we are going to designing for. Time to work🫡

Day 1 of the workshop and today I observed a multitude of interesting designs in the Chiba building and the surrounding area. The coffee shop for my teams project is in the area so it was really helpful to see what was around it.

Today was day 1 of our workshop collaboration with Chiba University! We got to visit the coffee shops we will work with and enjoy some of their products! ❤️

Had a wonderful time exploring the Chiba University’s Sumida Campus!

Being surrounded but graphic design spaces has been so refreshing!

I’m looking forward to working on this workshops’s project!

Today we explored shibuya again and later spent some time with a local in Shinjuku and had the best food I’ve ever tasted. First place I had to take my shoes off!!!!

Yesterday was a really fun time exploring Ginza! I really enjoyed looking at the architecture and how each place was unique. We also visited MUJI and Loft where I was able to find some stationary!

Today was spent exploring all of Ginza! We got to see many stores with so much exciting visuals!

Today I observed the more high end designs of the streets of Ginza and how it differentiates from the more trendy streets of Shibuya. This was interesting because it gave me more insight on how a design can be very different but also just as detailed and thought out. This may influence my project in helping me look through the lense of where something is located and how the design will blend in and also catch attention in an area where all is similar.
