Nearly four decades after the fall of the Berlin Wall, it is time to examine how the Midwest has changed and how it has shaped the nation in return.

Politics. Work. Culture. Media. Immigration. Identity.

We invite 300-word proposals exploring post-Cold War Midwestern history and transformation across the twelve-state region.

Proposals are due March 15, 2026.
