Yesterday was a nice gathering of only a few VUHS Class of 1988 classmates - Carrie Howe Barrows, Chris Goff, Dee Northrup Lareau, Anne Straw Gibson, Rebecca Brace Embry, Janet Sleeper Menard, Doug Dows (class advisor) - thank you to the significant others that came out and the kiddos as well, in particular, thank you to Debbie Hopkins for spending time with us - Chris Goff has asked that for the 30th we consider either 1) having the reunion in Sin City (Vegas) or 2) having the reunion in Chittenden County... #1 is a stretch but #2 is doable - so in 2018 we hit 30 years since graduating from VUHS as the Class of 1988 - what are your thoughts on August 10-12 weekend in 2018? how about the following - a private event on the Spirit of Ethan Allen with dinner and DJ/Dancing on Friday night and then a family event on Saturday at the Vergennes Pool or Button Bay or maybe an event that includes Addison County Fair & Field Days or the Vermont Lake Monsters if either of these events are happening at this time? The Vermont Lake Monsters does some private party type stuff with BBQ'ing and the game, etc...we need to start planning now, as it turns out, 5 years goes by fast...Carrie
