Our 52nd Strawberry Festival was rainy, fun-filled, and busy, but we still have some leftovers! (Last year we sold out...it's impossible to predict!)

If you (or someone you know!) would be interested in buying a whole pound cake, they are at Your Turn Resale Shoppe for $12 each.

And you can purchase a gallon of hand-sliced and sugared local strawberries for $40. (Perfect for jelly!!) Email Julie @ [email protected] to arrange a pickup or delivery.

Many thanks to Your Turn Resale Shoppe and our faithful volunteer, Marion Sullivan, for hosting grades 5&6 for a tour and an opportunity to give back to the amazing store that has supported and blessed CVCS for almost 40 years! Students helped organize the clothing racks as part of their community service. 💙

Our students had the incredible opportunity to step back in time with a visit to the John Strong Mansion Museum. After learning about early American life in the mansion, the students tried their hand at writing with quill pens and punching tin designs. Later, they ate a picnic lunch amid the Crown Point ruins. What a fabulous way to continue our celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence! 🇺🇸

Good morning from Gettysburg! Mr. Stapleford and his middle school students enjoyed their day at Gettysburg and are headed to Washington, DC today. 🌅

During recess one day, a few of our students gathered scraps of wood from the playground and decided to build a cross. There wasn’t a teacher directing them—it was simply their way of showing love for Jesus and honoring Him right where they were. As they worked together, others joined in, helping to steady the pieces and decorate the base. When it was finished, the cross stood tall as a beautiful reminder that even in ordinary moments, our hearts can turn naturally toward Christ and reflect His love in simple, genuine ways.

The students have logged over 47,000 minutes of reading during our Semiquincentennial celebration of American Independence read-a-thon, and we still have one week left to be calculated. Mrs. Woods and the Berenstein Bears reminded us during today’s read-aloud that Earth Day is next week! 📕 🌍 🇺🇸

What a fabulous week at CVCS! NCAA bracket winners, special guest readers, middle school prayer walk for Vergennes, chapel led by grades 5&6, and university project presentations. Fun, faith development, academic, and leadership opportunities! Thank you, Lord!
