A Day to Remember at the North Texas Teen Book Festival!

This year, we had the incredible opportunity to take 44 middle and high school students to the North Texas Teen Book Festival, and the impact was unforgettable. Our students immersed themselves in a world of stories, met inspiring authors, listened to powerful panels, and discovered that books are more than just pages.
We’re so proud of our students for representing our community and grateful for opportunities that celebrate literacy, creativity, and connection. Here’s to fostering a lifelong love of reading.

On Wednesday, March 5, our VMS Choirs performed for the UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest. They performed well and had excellent behavior, representing Venus well! Our advanced singers came home with an award for receiving 1's in sight reading!
