Some big projects going on before the start of the school year! Thanks to the generosity of donors, we were able to redo our boys' bathroom and put a 12 ft fence on the the south side of the property! Both projects are well underway and will be done before the start of the school year.

This past Sunday, Saint Augustine Academy hosted its first alumni dinner! We welcomed around 30 alumni along with their families and welcomed past parents, board members, and faculty! It was a wonderful event. The evening started with Mass celebrated by alumnus, Fr. Michael Masteller. We then had a hotdog/hamburger dinner cooked by Headmaster Timothy Moore. The evening included a co****le competetion, won by alumni Dominic Monnereau and Peter Zepeda. The Alumni who attend spanned all 36 years at St. Augustine Academy! It was an evening full of fun and relaxation. We hope this will become an annual tradition and we hope to see more and more alumni attend!

Special thanks to the team that put this together- Maggie Marschner, Monica O'Hearn, Rebecca O'Hearn, Nick Van Hecke, and Rob Bagdazian!

While this video is worth watching just to see Bishop Robert Barron and Vice President JD Vance discuss St. Augustine, what makes it all the more special to our community is that two of our alumni were behind the lens for this interview and did much of the video work! Thank you to Vaughn Woodward and Steven Galvan for representing SAA so well!

What do the teachers do over the summer? Way more than you think!

Mr. Augustine Seeley, in addition to getting married (Congratulations!), has been taking graduate courses in music at St. Patrick's Seminary in Menlo Park. The classes he is taking range from Choral conducting and pedagogy, to Gregorian Chant, to voice training.

Our K-6 teachers have spent the past few days at a Math Conference at the Heschel School in Northridge. Classes there are on pedagogy, techniques, lesson planning, and the wonder of Mathematics!

Mr. Richard Seeley, one of our new teachers, has spent the summer in Paris! He's been teaching a group of physchologists the classics during a summer prgoram with the Boethius Institute.

Mr. Moore, Mr. Van Damme, and Mr. Galloway have re-founded a local chapter of the "Shakespeare Appreciation Club" and have been studying works of Shakespeare in a small group setting with local educators and intellects- beginning with Othello, Corialanus, and Measure for Measure.

We're gearing up for the end of August and can't wait to see everyone again!

Saint Augustine Academy formed its graduates to seek what is True, Good, and Beautiful. That formation does not end at graduation.

A team of alumni volunteers, in partnership with Mr. Robert Bagdazian, SAA's Director of Development, is building an Alumni-to-Alumni Network. The goal is to reconnect with the friends who shaped our childhood, honor the teachers and school that shaped us, and carry that spirit into our adult lives.

The friendships we formed at SAA were formative. This network is an opportunity to expand them. It starts with a short form to join the alumni database.
