I am so excited to have another bebe with this hot Brit! He’s taken her all over the world: England, wales Australia, Fiji, Massachusetts, New Mexico and more! Headed to our prenatal class with and gearing up for our transfer day with
Kindergarten used to mean children’s garden. Coined by 1840 by German educator Friedrich Frobel, he felt children should develop like plants wildly in a garden.
We have plans to open a forest kindergarten. No work books, no sitting down, no drills, no tests, just real learning in real life. 8:30-1:30pm Monday through Friday. Interested? Comment below or DM.

Blue Crèche names Miss Ashley Thornhill as assistant director. After a robust search we are ecstatic to announce that will be joining our team in a more permanent capacity. Ashley has over 13 years working with children as a high profile nanny, preschool teacher in San Francisco and as the owner and founder of Music with Miss Ashley, a sunny mom and me music program. Ashley holds a BA in human development and an early childhood teaching certificate. She will join our downtown team in July and will help us grow to two locations in Fall/Winter 2026. Beyond being an amazing teacher, Ashley is a joy 🤩 to be around. Children adore her and we do too!

Blue Crèche names Amanda Honda as Director!
Over the past year, Amanda has been an integral part of our launch team. She came to Ventura to be our Nursery Director from the Santa Monica Lab School where she led a staff of 40 and hundreds of students. As we’ve grown our program, I’ve trusted Amanda to lead parenting classes, seminars and our nursery team. Now she will extend her duties to the entire school. Her role is imperative as we grow to two locations and multiple cities. Amanda holds a masters degree in early childhood education and is currently enrolled in early childhood leadership certificate program. Most days you can find Amanda mentoring staff, holding babies or teaching!
We are ecstatic to have her take on this further leadership role.
Am I crazy to have a baby at 47? Probably! But I’ve got this one life to live. I’m making it count.

Hey everyone, big news! We are starting our IVF journey again and implanting a boy embryo on June 18 (our wedding anniversary…the universe picked the date…which is fun!)
I’m signing up for birthing class and I would love for any other expectant mamas and papas to join us. Wednesdays at 5:30pm and runs for 6 weeks. DM me for further details or check out our website under “mamas and papas”.
