Attention Pirates🚨 The Basic Needs Center has collaborated with us to host a Opportunity Drawing !! The Opportunity Drawing begins October 1, 2022 - December 5, 2022. The requirement to participate involves:
1)Stoping by the Basic Needs Office, located 4667 Telegraph Road Ventura, CA 93003. Inside the Finacial aid building.
2)Bringing with you a reusable bag to receive your (ONCE A WEEK) groceries.
3)Inputting your student ID number in the Basic Need kiosk and informing a staff member that your interested in participating the opportunity drawing.
5) Winners will be announced during Basic Needs drive through events, as well on our social media plate-forms.

Latinx Heritage Month, is celebrated throughout the latter half of September and the first half of October. This celebration began as a way to promote the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans specifically, those whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Communities mark the achievements of Hispanic and Latino Americans with festivals and educational activities. In honor of Latinx Heritage Month, the Associated Student of Ventura College and VC Basic Needs Center invites all Ventura College Students to attend October 11, cultural event!

FREE ASVC pizza party and FREE entry to Ventura College Women’s Volleyball game on September 28 for students with a valid VC student ID. Gates open at 5:30pm this Wednesday at Ventura College. You wouldn’t want to miss it! Considering how our Ventura College Women’s Volleyball team is ranked #1 in Southern California and #2 in the state, it will be a good one!
