Save the date: The VCHB concert will be held at VHS on Sunday, February 22nd.

We wanted to take a moment to highlight the Silent Auction portion of our Benefit Concert this Thursday night! Our fabulous Silent Auction Team has assembled a beautiful, mouthwatering, tantalizing, and tempting assortment of items and baskets, with over 135 selections to choose from! There is truly something there for everyone!! We have certificates for fine dining, casual dining, 2 beautiful bikes!, many fun adventures, health club certificates, gorgeous jewelry, concert tickets, a vibrant, vintage 1960’s Turkish rug from Eclecteak, and a stunning Gibson Hummingbird guitar, to just highlight a few.

We are so grateful to the local businesses that have come forward to support our efforts to raise funds for our students this year—we hope that you will make sure to patronize them in the future. Our local arts and culture depend on this.

Be sure to invite your family, friends, and neighbors to a fantastic event they won’t want to miss (you don’t have to buy a ticket to view and participate in the auction!).

We need your help!

We are in need of music parents/supporters to help on our silent auction benefit team (the event is on Thursday, October 23rd, & is our single biggest fundraiser of the year).

Please contact Gina Clemow at [email protected] at your earliest convenience if you are interested. This is a crucial way in which you can support all of our music students around your work and life schedule.

There are many ways to help leading up to our event in addition to the night of. Please consider helping. Many hands make light work! (Here are a few photos from our successful Silent Auction Benefit Concert last Fall.)

March 7th was our Festival Concert. String Orchestra, String Orchestra Honors, Wind Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble Honors all performed.

The VUSD Music Festival is happening this Saturday, March 8th at VHS. Come support these VUSD musicians!

Musicians from VHS Jazz Studio Black travelled to Riverside yesterday where they participated in the Essentially Ellington So Cal Regional Music Festival. They performed three pieces with many solos and features, participated in a master class, and had a clinic.

We are thankful to our music director, Mr. Hunt, for finding opportunities like this for our musicians to get to experience. We also would like to thank the VHS admin for their support of our trip and all of our continued support from our music families and boosters. Finally, thank you to our amazing chaperones: Ms. Cervantes, Mr. Boccali & Ms. Dietz.

2.13.25! We had an unforgettable night, our much anticipated concert with guest composer and conductor, Oscar Navarro!

We are beyond thankful for the vision and collaboration between our music director, Mr. Paul Hunt & Maestro Navarro, for making this challenging repertoire attainable for our musicians.

We are also thankful to our Music Booster Board and supporters for making this dream concert a reality and available to all! Thank you to our many volunteers and for the community support-we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
