🎄 Our first fundraiser of the school year! 🎄

For Asian American, Pacific Islander and Native Hawaiian Heritage Month we read a book about daal! Our former school directress and teacher, Mrs. Wijesekera, cooked daal for the students to try. Guess what!? They loved it!

On an impromptu walk to release an opossum that one of our teachers found at her home. We found out that opossums that are around 7 inches long leave their mom to become independent. Our opossum was exactly 7 inches! We are so happy we helped it find a place that had lots of covering to protect him from predators.

It’s a happy morning in our butterfly garden!
