It’s GAME DAY at Wellen Park! 🏈🦅

Our Eagles are back under the lights tonight as we welcome the DeSoto County Bulldogs to Wellen Park Stadium!

A quick reminder before you head our way: Sarasota County Schools clear bag policy is in effect for all athletic events. Please take a look at the attached graphic before arriving so you know what can and cannot be brought into the stadium.

Wellen Park High School’s Junior Achievement 3DE journey is officially underway!

A huge shoutout to our incredible 3DE Launch Teacher, Mr. Poulos, and 3DE Support Teacher, Mrs. Licata, for kicking off our first Case Challenge of the school year!

Case Challenges bring authentic, real-world business experiences directly into the high school classroom.

Over 5–6 weeks, students tackle meaningful business challenges presented by regional and national corporate partners—giving them the opportunity to apply what they’re learning, collaborate, problem-solve, and build skills for their future.

A special thank you to Achieva Credit Union for partnering with Junior Achievement 3DE and helping launch our very first Case Challenge! Your investment in our students makes a lasting impact.

And this is just the beginning! Over the course of the four-year Junior Achievement 3DE program, WPHS student cohorts typically complete 16 Case

Experiences plus a final Capstone Experience—creating countless opportunities to connect classroom learning with the real world.
We can’t wait to see what our students accomplish!
