At Student Leadership Academy, we believe results matter, and this year’s state assessment results once again demonstrate that our students continue to excel, reinforcing why so many families choose SLA for their children’s education. These outstanding results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the incredible partnership we share with our families.

Volleyball season is gearing up! The season opener is less than two weeks away. With that being said, LET'S GET READY TO SOAR EAGLES. Volleyball try-outs will be this Wednesday and Thursday after school until 4:00. That's right, after school until 4:00!

Sign ups will be in the cafeteria at lunch.

On Wednesday, get dressed and ready for try-outs in one of the bathrooms, grab a snack and hydrate, and stay in the cafeteria until called at or around 2:30.

It's an exciting time of the year... good luck to all those trying out!

Schools only have short periods of time to deep clean, freshen up, and renovate. We are so thankful to RBM and Coastal Construction for their hard work this summer to keep our building clean, fresh, and new! From carpet cleaning to new paint to mulch to brand new staff bathrooms, these two amazing local companies did it all... and in just 2 months!

We are so excited to see everyone bright and early tomorrow morning! It's going to be a great year, SLA!

Dear SLA Families,

We understand that many of you have questions regarding transportation for the upcoming school year, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this process.

At this time, we are continuing to work with the district to obtain answers to the many valid questions our families have raised. As soon as we receive confirmed information, we will communicate those updates with everyone as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we ask that you please continue to email Joella with any transportation-related questions or concerns. She is tracking all family inquiries, as well as the zip codes of families interested in transportation, to help determine whether additional bus stops may be needed based on demand.
