I was excited to serve as a commentator this past weekend at the inaugural U.S. Senior Women's Chess Championship. It was a wonderful reunion seeing some of the players for the first time in many years, including some of whom I met just months after arriving in the U.S. more than 40 years ago.
This is a special group of women chess players, most of them, represented the U.S. in many chess Olympiads.
Next year, I hope to join as a participant!
