Teacher Feature! 🐊💚
Each week we would like to feature one of our amazing educators so you can learn a little more about our awesome staff! This week we are featuring ESE Resource teacher, Ms. Lindsay Gilchrist! Read below to see why Ms. Gilchrist (soon to be Mrs. Lytle!) makes our school so great! 💚🐊
Ms. Gilchrist began her teaching journey at Garden Elementary right out of college, where she taught K–2 ESE for 4 years. She now works as an ESE Resource Teacher with students in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. She loves working with different grade levels and helping students learn, grow, and build confidence.
One of her favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each student and finding what helps them feel successful. She loves those “ah-ha!” moments when a student finally understands something they’ve been working so hard on and seeing their confidence grow.
Originally from Ohio, Ms. Gilchrist moved to Florida in 2022 and has loved calling Florida home ever since! Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her fiancé and her dog, Beau, and soaking up beach and boat days.
She is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in her students’ lives and hopes every student she works with knows just how capable they are.
