📚🎶 Families of Englewood, Venice, Wellen Park and other surrounding areas - come see Jilly’s Corner LIVE at the library this month!

We’re so excited to continue bringing Jilly’s Corner LIVE to the Elsie Quirk Library this month AND over the next several months!

If you have a toddler or preschooler at home and you haven’t joined us yet, our shows combine live music, storytime, puppets, movement, learning, and lots of opportunities for little ones to participate. Every show brings a new theme and a new adventure! 🎸📖✨

And while you’re there, be sure to check out everything else the library has going on for families! I’m including a copy of the upcoming library events with this post so all my local mamas, papas, grandparents, and caregivers can take a peek and save some fun dates. 📅

Libraries are such a wonderful resource for families, and there are SO many great opportunities to get the kiddos out of the house, meet other families, learn, play, and have some fun together.

September is bringing us some WONDERFUL WEATHER! 🌦️

This month at Jilly’s Corner LIVE, our little weather watchers will explore sunshine, clouds, rain, wind, storms, rainbows and more through music, movement, stories, puppetry and play!

🌈 We’ll sing about the colors of the rainbow
🌧️ Make rain and weather sounds together
💨 Move our bodies like the wind
☁️ Explore clouds and different kinds of weather
📚 Enjoy weather-themed story time
🎶 Sing, dance and play along
🦖 AND get a very special weather forecast from Tracie the Triceratops!

Jilly’s Corner LIVE is designed especially for little learners ages 0–5 and their grown-ups, with plenty of opportunities to sing, move, participate, laugh and learn together!

In this episode, we’re getting up close with some fascinating little creatures you might find right in your own backyard! Kids will learn fun facts about spiders, grasshoppers, millipedes, butterflies, bees, and praying mantises while we sing, play, read a story, and explore together. 🐝🦋

🐞 Backyard Bug Adventures are coming to Jilly’s Corner LIVE! 🦋

Join us Wednesday, August 12th and 26th at 10:00 AM inside Solis Hall in Downtown Wellen Park for a fun-filled morning of bug exploration!

We’ll discover 8 amazing backyard bugs through music, movement, story time, real bug photos, and hands-on exploration. From butterflies and bees to spiders and praying mantises, your little explorer is sure to have a blast learning through play!
