Storytime may look simple from the outside, but there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. 📚🧠

As you read together, your child is listening for new words, remembering what happened earlier, making connections to things they already know, imagining what’s happening in the story and even predicting what might come next.

Those little pauses to ask, “What do you think will happen?” or “How do you think they feel?” are giving their brain even more to work with.

Those everyday storytime moments are building skills they’ll use far beyond the book.
