Last week, we had the opportunity to spend time with the staff at Thomas Jefferson High School for a conversation about situational awareness and active threat preparedness.
I appreciate organizations that are willing to invest the time to become better prepared—especially when the responsibility includes the safety of students, coworkers, and an entire school community.
The goal of this training isn't to create fear.
It's exactly the opposite.
It's about awareness.
It's about preparation.
And it's about giving people practical tools that can help them make better decisions if they're ever faced with a difficult situation.
A big thank you to the team at Thomas Jefferson for trusting us with your staff. We received some tremendous feedback after the training and truly enjoyed spending the time with you.
If your school, business, or organization is looking to have a similar conversation around situational awareness and active threat preparedness, we'd be happy to help.
Preparedness isn't about living in fear. It's about being ready to act when it matters.
