We are a childcare home that is committed to positive, loving relationships with all children in our care. Our ideal candidate will be someone who understands the importance of play and is committed to helping children reach their developmental milestones by using intentional teaching practices as well as bringing a loving, playful demeanor into the classroom.

Job Requirements:
• Enrollment in the Criminal Background Registry, and fingerprinting

Job Duties (Include but are not limited to):
• Engagement with children through play, creating positive learning experiences for children of all ages.
• Food and meal prep, meal serving and meal clean-up; including dish washing.
• Toileting assistance and diaper changing
• Assist in keeping the classroom tidy and inviting for the children.
• Assist with observation and assessment of the children.
• Interact with parents, informing parents of their child’s activities throughout the day. Answer parents’ questions.
• Work with co-workers in a supportive manner.

This position is Monday-Friday 9 - 5, we also have a part-time teacher's assistant position open.

We are looking for a friendly, respectful individual to assist with our certified family preschool & childcare. We care for children ages 3 months to 8 years and we are in search of an assistant who enjoys and feels comfortable with this age range. We are looking for a warm, positive individual who values children and their individuality!

The Assistant I will assist the Lead Teacher and Assistant II in all areas of care including meeting the children’s physical and emotional needs, assisting in planned learning activities, and light housekeeping duties.

Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be willing to be enrolled in the Office of Childcare’s Central Background Registry and pass a criminal background check
• Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers card
• Must have or be able to obtain certification in first aid and Adult/Pediatric CPR
• Must have a driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be willing to participate in 18 hours of training in each calendar year
Experience working in a certified preschool or child care setting is not required but is preferred. Experience working with children in some capacity is required.

Position will vary between 20 and 25 hours per week. We are looking for someone with some flexibility in scheduling and with the ability to substitute periodically. This position is available immediately.

We found this guy on our little slide the other day. Searching on line we found it is a Sphinx Moth, common name One Eyed Sphinx. Very unique, such a cool find! The caterpillars feed off of Willows and Poplars, we have a nice big Willow in our play area.

We said goodbye to our sweet Rat Girl last month. Last week we welcomed in our new ratty friends, Flash and Templeton. A couple very friendly, active boys who have given the teachers and children a lot of entertainment!

Thank you Coyote Creek Construction LLC for taking the time to put together our awesome new play structure (back in January!)! You were smiling and joking the entire time despite dealing with the millions of loose parts you had to assemble - and the kids love it so much!
