Parents, please be mindful of your child’s attendance. Students are allowed 5 total absences per semester, whether excused OR unexcused.

Once a student reaches 5 absences, we are required to make a truancy referral.

Our kindergartners are making learning fun and meaningful! Students practiced counting, identifying numbers, and using money through an exciting role-play activity.

Taking turns as chefs and customers, students prepared pretend orders, counted items, recognized numbers, and exchanged money to “pay” for their purchases. This hands-on experience allowed students to strengthen their early math skills while also practicing communication, problem-solving, and social skills.

At Linwood Elementary, we love seeing our students learn by doing! 💙🐾

📚✨ Literacy Night at Linwood was a success!

Our parents and students enjoyed rotating through engaging stations while learning fun and practical strategies to support literacy at home. We loved seeing our families learning, participating, and growing together! 💙📖

This week, Ms Ketchum’s kindergarteners took a hands-on approach to learning about the parts of a plant by visiting our school garden! 🌿👩‍🌾

Instead of just learning about plants from a book, we got to see, touch, explore, and observe them growing right before our eyes! Our little scientists even picked a cucumber and a pepper so we could cut them open and take a closer look at the seeds inside. 🥒🌶️🔍
