Scott Wegryzn, a firefighter with the Vassar Fire Department, visited Mr. Schian’s 7th-grade Social Studies class last week to talk about fire safety and prevention. Students had the opportunity to learn valuable information about staying safe and preventing fires.

A big thank you to Mr. Wegryzn for taking the time to visit our classroom and share his knowledge with our students!

The Vassar Marching Band performed in the Mid-Michigan Marching Showcase in Birch Run on Tuesday, along with eight other marching bands. The band performed their halftime show titled “Does That Make Me Crazy?” featuring "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley, "Toxic" by Britany Spears, and "Crazy in Love" by JAY Z and Beyonce. Led by drum majors Gideon Walker and Marcus Paez, the Vassar Marching Band delivered a very successful show and demonstrated to the audience just how much we’ve improved over the last year.
