Attention Central Families!
We love to post fun pics of our amazing students doing great things! Photo Waiver Forms were included in the back to school folders that were handed out at open house or sent home with each family.
If your child(ren) was on our “no photo” list last year and we did not receive a new one, we are sending them home with another form for the 2026-2027 school year. Please be on the lookout 👀

Important Reminder for 5th grade families!!!
Camp Fowler is quickly approaching. 5th grade students will be attending camp on September 9th, 10th, and 11th.

FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE ON MONDAY, AUGUST 24!

If you are the parent/guardian of a fifth grade student, and you have questions about this AMAZING EXPERIENCE, please contact your child's teacher.

Good morning, Central families! As we head into our third week of school, please plan to drop your students off at the main entrance. YOU CAN CERTAINLY WALK THEM TO THE DOOR. Our staff will make sure that they get to their classrooms safely. At this point in the school year, it is important to foster independence and establish consistent morning routines. We know this can be hard at first, especially with our youngest Vulcans, but safety is always our priority!

Edit! I apologize for the confusion! You can absolutely walk your students to the door! We just need to limit all of the extra foot traffic inside the building so that we are following all safety protocols!

Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you for partnering with us to help shape the future of our schools. Every response matters!

As part of the 2018 Bond program, the district set aside contingency funds to address unforeseen project costs. Because those funds were not fully expended during construction, we now have an opportunity to invest the remaining dollars in additional eligible facility improvements. The projects inclu...

🧡🖤 Thank You, Central Elementary Families! 🖤🧡

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during dismissal today. Today was our first day back and our first day using our new dismissal procedure, so we knew there would be a learning curve.

Whenever we try something new, we learn what works well and what may need to change. We will continue to reflect, make changes when needed, and work together to make dismissal better each day.

Most importantly, our goal is to keep dismissal SAFE! Safety will always come first. We want every student to leave school safely, every family to feel comfortable with the process, and our staff to be able to do their jobs well.

We especially want to thank the families who were patient, kind, and understanding as we worked through this new process together. Your kindness and support mean so much to our staff. Thank you for trusting us, and giving us grace as we learn and improve.

Please know that we are listening, thinking about what we can do better, and already making necessary changes. Our goal is for dismissal to be safe, smooth, organized, and efficient for everyone.

Thank you for being part of our Central Elementary community! 🧡🖤
