Final day with the art camp kiddos..we visited the Raleigh Art Museum and the kids were able to see how their art that they’ve been working on tied into on with the art at the museum. ❤️ so much fun!

Wednesday and Thursdays Art Camp masterpieces..Wednesday was learning about African Art and students made boxes used repetitive patterns and symbols used in African culture. Thursday students learned about still-life painting with one of the most famous artists Vincent Van Gogh and his famous sunflower painting. They also worked on some outdoor art sculpture pieces that will be showcased later once complete.

Day 2 of Art Camp was a huge Success! Students learned about Weaving and made their own looms, warps and learned how to weft. And their pottery from Mayan Monday was dried and looking fabulous😁

Day 1 of Summer Art Camp funded through the in Raleigh. This is the 3rd year that our very own AMAZING Art teacher Ms. K was asked by the museum to host the program. Today, Ms. K taught kids about the Mayan culture through pottery ❤️ we’ll do better at taking more pics throughout the week to share 😁
