The 4/5 class got to ride around the block in a school bus today… not only a fun trip, but a valuable skill in preparation for kindergarten. The perks of having a co-op parent who is also a bus driver!

With less than 2 weeks of school left and an 80+ degree day, we obviously had to hit the beach! It was such a great day playing at KVI with both the 2/3 and 4/5 classes! Such a fun co-op tradition ☀️ The crabs are always a delight… and popsicles were just the cherry on top!

Our whole school community came together on Sunday for our annual end of the year gathering… this year we had less (no) camping, but chose to come together on our playground for a meal and some fun all together. Co-op has had an infestation! Bugs and insects everywhere! The walls are covered with beetles, the tables covered with butterflies, and there’s insects in our play dough. We even had real buggy visitors in the classroom today…. Madagascar hissing cockroaches!

The 4/5 class had a very fun field trip to Aunt Rebecca’s home and farm! We fed goats and chickens, awed at peacocks, and played for hours on the beach. Thank you to Rebecca and Rachel for organizing! Best day ever, even if the weather didn’t get the memo!
